However, 1 Bg5+? with the idea of 1 ... Ke5 2 Sxd7+ Kxe4 doesn't avail much; the b6-knight is guarding the d7-pawn. White needs to decoy that knight first, and he does this with <b>1 Be7!</b> (threat 2 Bd6 mate) <b>Sc8 or Sc4</b>.
